Dr. Den joined Texas A&M University-San Antonio in the fall of 2018 and has since served as the Program Coordinator for the Water Resources Science and Technology degree programs. Prior to joining A&M-SA, he was a faculty member at Tunghai University in Taiwan for 15 years. His research spans a range of water and wastewater treatment technologies, water reclamation and management, and industrial air pollution control processes. His teaching includes water and wastewater treatment, desalination technologies, and sustainable industrial water uses. Dr. Den is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Chemical Society (Environmental Chemistry division) and the American Water Works Association.
Dr. Den received his doctoral and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Southern California. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
